Gingerbread Houses

Isabelle made her first gingerbread house today at the Waukesha Public Library.  They read a story, sang a few Christmas songs, and then everyone got to make their own gingerbread houses with milk cartons.  She loved decorating the outside and eating marshmallows!!

Halloween Cards

Isabelle has been busy this month making Halloween cards with Grandma Carla.

She made 13 cards to send to family and friends for Halloween.  Her favorite part was coloring the front and putting stickers on the inside.  She even signed all of them herself!

Owen's Marshmallow Peep

Grandma Carla made Isabelle an Easter basket using things found in the board book "Owen's Marshmallow Peep" by Kevin Henkes!

Christmas Blanket

 Christmas blanket made by Grandma Carla when DJ was five years old - DJ helped with the pinning and sat by Carla when she was making it.

Isabelle loved cuddling with grandma and playing peek-a-boo!!

Lawn Blocks

Isabelle made her grandparents hand-print lawn blocks for Christmas this year. We did pretty good for a very squirmy baby!!!

Here is Isabelle with her blanket from Grandma Carla that she made when DJ and Amber were little.  We took some pictures with it when Isabelle was 2 months old.  She's also wearing a homemade sweater from her Great-Aunt Marcy.

Winnie the Pooh 10,000 Celebration

A couple of weeks ago I made this card for Deb Hoffmann when she reached 10,000 items in her Winnie the Pooh and friends collection.  The picture turned out kind of blurry, but it's the only one I took :(  You can take a look at my original Winnie the Pooh post when we first meet Deb and saw her awesome pooh collection.

We also made fun Winnie the Pooh treats: tigger tails and acorns from the "Hundred Acre Woods."

And of course we had to dress up:
