2015 Christmas Cards - Set #1
Finally found sometime over Thanksgiving weekend to get my Christmas cards done! My friend Courtney came over and we had a crafting weekend. I haven't done a lot of crafting, so it was nice to get all of my stamps and paper out!!!
I always make my own cards for Christmas, but this year they included a picture of our daughter Isabelle - almost a year old. And, I was able to use my new Christmas stamp for the inside:
Here are all the cards I made - with a few close ups:

Flower Sentiments
I started these a few months ago and finally got a chance to finish them up this weekend. I used the same design in a bunch of different colors and added a variety of sentiments. They were super easy and turned out really clean and simple!
I did mass production in our living room (which is finally back to normal!) and made a total of just over 350 of them! I made a bunch of sets for wedding, Christmas, and Mother's Day gifts and have a ton left over for me to send out next year.

Kitten and Yarn Cards
Here is my fourth and final card knitting / yarn card that I made for Stitches Midwest on August 8-10th (next weekend!) with Kim Apel. Our friend and co-worker Bobbi will be selling them along with her awesome hand spun yarn. Checkout her facebook page or shop on etsy to see some of the items that she will be selling!
To make this card, I used the Stampin' Up set Storybook Friends and a variety of different greetings from the set Knit Happens by My Favorite Things. It came with a lot of knitting and yarn related sayings that were perfect to use for our cards. I used my cricket to make all the different sized circles and little flowers and a bunch of couple of different embossing folders to add some dimension. To top it off, I added a few rhinestones in the center of the flowers.

Birthday Cupcakes
Some more birthday cards I put together at crafting cabin this weekend at Magnolia Ridge Hideaway. I made six different kinds with the new kathy davis birthday paper pad that I got at jo-annes a few weeks ago (I'm trying to find a link to it...but no luck.) The cupcakes were really fun to make. I colored in the cupcake wrapper and the dots on the bottom of the pan with stampin' up markers, used glitter glue for the frosting, and punched out the heart from the owl punch.
Here is all six of them:
Materials Used:
- Stamps - easy events
- Paper - kathy davis birthday stack (#1945)
- Other - owl punch, scallop trim punch, polka dot embossing folder
