A Very Merry Christmas to You

Here is the second card that we made over at my December card making workshop with the residents at the Luther Manor Retirement Community:

We used the cute little images from Stampin' Up's No Peeking stamp set and I made a bunch of different banners with holiday saying to go with.  One of the residents even made four different cards!! I love how she used silver sequins on the tree :)

Bling it On Christmas Tree

Here is a card I made for the December card making workshop over at Luther Manor where my friend Samantha Hansen is the life enrichment assistant.

The residences had lot of fun making holiday cards for their family and friends and putting the rhinestones on the tree kept them busy :)

Here are some of their wonderful creations:

Lawnscaping #76

Today I'm playing along with the arctic color inspiration challenge over at Lawnscaping.  I just love these colors and they are perfect for the cold and icy weather we've been having lately.  To create this card, I used two of the lawn fawn stamp sets - Into the Woods and Peace Joy Love.  And of course I had to add some bling and a scarf to keep the little deer warm :)

A Minion Christmas

Ahh this card was so much fun to make!!  This is the second holiday minion card that I made this year. These little guys are just way to cute I had to make another one!!  I ended up using a lot of different stamps sets for this one.  I may have gotten a little carried away ;)

Click on my post from yesterday for details on my original minion post.  I also have a tutorial on how to make the minions out of the Stampin' Up Owl Punch.

The santa hat is from Newton's Nook Designs Frozen Friends:

The sentiment, Christmas tree, and star are from A Wee Christmas by Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  The cute little lights are from Lawn Fawn's Peace Joy Love stamps.

And I pulled out one of Newton's first stamps Wagon of Wishes for the presents under the tree.

Making this card reminded me that Christmas is just 10 days away...so much left to do!!!

Minion Snowfall

A few days ago, I received a request for a Christmas minion card. I did a quick alteration to a card a made a few days ago and came up with this.

For this card, I used cute little snowman and santa hat from Newton's Nook Designs Frozen Friends set for the background.  The minion was created using the Stampin' Up Owl Punch.  And of course I had to add some snowflakes and bling!

Click here to me my original minion post.

I ended up making these cute little guys right before the second movie came out and spend the last couple of months making a TON of minion cards!!  Good thing they have died down a little bit because they take a LONG time to make ;)

I also made a partying minion card for a 21st birthday...
and a back-to-school one for my best friend on her first day back to school as a third grade teacher.

Here's a close up:

Lawnscaping Winter Blog Hop 2013

Hello and welcome to the this year's Lawnscaping Winter Blog Hop!  You should have came from Becky Sorensen's blog - if not, you can start at the beginning by visiting the Lawnscaping blog.  The theme for this hop was winter.  I was super excited to get my new Lawn Fawn stamps in the mail last week!!  Here's what I came up with:

For this card, I use the Into the Woods stamp set and mixed sequins.  I borrowed the sentiment on the bottom from Newton's Nook Designs Frozen Friends.  They worked so perfect together, I just had to try them out on a card.  One of my favorite things about making winter cards is all the different color scheme you can use...and this little deer is way to cute :)

Next, head on over to Ann Tomaschik's blog.  Make sure to comment on all of the participating blogs...there will be lots of fabulous prizes to win.  You can check out the Lawnscaping homepage for more details!

Inky Paws Challenge #5 - part 2

Here is my second card for the Inky Paws Challenge over at Newton's Nook Design.  For this card, I used the new holiday set Canine Christmas.  I just love the cute little dogs in this set and can't wait to make some more cards with it this year - if I don't run out of time before Christmas!!!

Inky Paws Challenge #5 - part 1

It's time for another Inky Paws Challenge over at Newton's Nook Designs.
The challenges ends Friday at Midnight, so there's still a little time to play along :)

For my first card, I used the new winter set, Frozen Friends.  All the different images and sentiments are so cute...what could be better then snowmen in winter (especially with the weather we're been having lately!!)  For the background, I used one of the snowflake stamps in the set, and of course, I had to add some glitter as well :)

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
CAS-ual Fridays #123 - Let It Snow
CASology #74 - Snowflake

Lots of "snow" themes this week!!!

Holiday Candy Penguin Card

I created this card last a couple of days ago with the Stampin' Up No Peeking set and my new pack of Christmas paper.  I've really liked the combination of pink and light green on holiday cards lately...I seem to be using it a lot!  And the blue adds a nice touch :)

This is one of the four cards I have as part of my new Christmas card kit set.  I made up a bunch of them last week to sell at my upcoming craft fairs.
